JOB POSTINGS
General Duties as North Star staff:

Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Devote yourself regularly to prayer and the study of God’s word.

Be prepared to deliver short devotions as needed during staff meetings.

Do all work as unto the Lord by maintaining appropriate punctuality, working habits, and demeanor towards coworkers, staff, students, and camp clientele.

Communicate regularly and clearly with other staff members.
-
Conduct one-on-one and group discipleship with NSBS students as directed.
-
Be willing to take on other duties as assigned.
Food Service Manager:
-
Plan a regular, predominantly homemade menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for retreats, summer camp, and Bible School students.

Supervise and lead all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and cleanup.

Manage and train two kitchen assistants and several volunteer kitchen helpers.

Regularly shop for menu items as needed.

Prepare a kitchen budget for regular review with the Executive Director.

Delegate duties to other kitchen staff as needed to cover days off.
-
Communicate menu and other pertinent items regularly to office staff in advance, and as required.
-
Maintain food safety certifications of self, site, and staff.
